Vial size: 5,000 IU lyophilised powder
Reconstitution: Add 5.0 mL of bacteriostatic water to yield a working concentration of 1,000 IU/mL. Inject water slowly down the vial wall. Swirl gently until dissolved — do not shake. Label and refrigerate at 2–8 °C.
At 1,000 IU/mL on a U-100 insulin syringe: 1 unit = 0.01 mL = 10 IU.
